Funny office gifts and Secret Santa ideas under $30
Funny office gifts and Secret Santa ideas under $30: a Grr Mondays mug, mouse pad and desk mat, and a Recession Indicator tote and dad hat.
Office Secret Santa has rules nobody writes down. Spend about $25. Don't give anything that needs explaining to HR. Don't give a candle. The gift should be a little funny, useful enough to stay on the desk, and safe to open in front of the whole team.
Everything below is printed to order and costs less than $30, with shipping shown before you pay. You can check out on schank.io, and most of them are also on Amazon, TikTok Shop and Etsy if that's easier.
For the person who needs a minute before Monday
Every office has one. They don't say good morning until the coffee is half gone, and on Monday it's the whole cup. The Grr Mondays set is for them.
The mug is the safe pick. Nobody has ever been upset to get a mug, and this one is the least expensive thing on the page.
The mouse pad and desk mat are for the coworker who already has eleven mugs. A desk mat in particular is one of those things people don't buy for themselves and then use every day.
For the one who reads the market news out loud
There's always somebody who checks the market before they check their email and wants to tell you about it. The Recession Indicator pieces are for them, and for anyone who has noticed they've started buying the store brand.
The tote is useful at the grocery store, which is where the joke works best. The hat is the one people will ask about.
Prices at a glance
On schank.io: the mug is $11.99, the mouse pad $14.99, the desk mat $17.99, the dad hat $22.99 and the tote $23.99. Shipping to US addresses is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Each one is printed after you order, so allow about one to two weeks before the exchange.
A few Secret Santa rules worth keeping
Stay inside the limit, even if you found something better for $40. Pick a gift that works for anyone in case the names get swapped. Skip anything with a size. Avoid jokes about someone's age, their desk or their job performance. Joke about Monday instead, since it has no feelings.
If you're doing a white elephant swap, a desk mat in a flat box gets guessed wrong every time. Wrap accordingly.
Ordering in time
Because everything is printed for you, order a couple of weeks before the party. The Amazon and TikTok Shop listings are printed to order too, so the timing is about the same wherever you buy. Questions about an order go to contact@schank.io.
If you're buying for the whole team
Mugs are the easiest group gift, since everyone drinks something in the morning and nobody needs a size. Mix the two designs so people can trade. If your team is remote, order each one to its own address so nobody has to carry a box of mugs onto a video call. Order a separate checkout per address, since each order ships to one place.
